In 1992, being a lifelong collector of Sporting Art, Alan Redmond, developed what he considered a niche in the market at the time. Following conversations with fellow enthusiasts, it became apparent that no specialist dealers catered to this particular aspect of the trade.
Since then Redmond Fine Art has sold pieces to each continent on the globe, each new frontier being crossed, opening a world of new contacts as either artists, customers and fellow enthusiasts.
Today, Redmond Fine Art enjoys the respected and honoured position of being one of the premier purveyors of Sporting Art in Ireland, the UK, and a growing Worldwide market in terms of Collectible Prints, Original works from artists such as Gillian Binchy, Karen Davies, Thierry Faure and Paddy Lennon, and sculpted works from up and coming artists.
Our current service offerings include Authentication for the purposes of Valuation and Insurance, Inventory and Cataloguing of Collections, Sales, Commissioning of Works, and sourcing "wishlist" items through an extensive network of colleagues both local and overseas.
We exhibit regularly at Goffs, Kill, Co Kildare, Punchestown, Naas, County Kildare and the Dublin Horse Show at the Royal Dublin Society.
Works we have handled for clients include sketches, oil paintings, watercolours, sculptures, and prints. Artists include Peter Curling, Sir Alfred Munnings, Snaffles and Richard Stone-Reeves.
